If you’re in the NYC area, Rockwood Music Hall is where you should be tonight! It’s Allison Weiss’s cd release show and Bess Rogers and Greg Holden are along for the ride too. Bess is at 8, Allison is at 9, and Greg is at 10.

Bess Rogers is an incredibly talented musician! If you’re an Ingrid Michaelson fan, which let’s face it it’s difficult not to love her, then you’ll definitely like Bess. She usually backs up Ingrid on tour alongside Allie Moss (who is also great). I always like looking into sidemen, you never know what awesome tunes they’re producing when they aren’t backing up someone you already love. Her lyrics aren’t as poppy as IM’s, but her songs are just as catchy. And I hate to admit it, because I’m a diehard Ingrid fan, but I might even like some her songs more than her front-woman’s.
